Being A Woman
Being a woman
Out on a night's stroll
May have been
Her only fault
Her self-esteem
Mercilessly stolen
By intoxicated animals
Disguised as men,
Who trespass
All that is
Sacred to her
No courts of justice
To set right
The tormented victims
Who've been wronged
The dastardly acts
Of a few indecent men
Forces a decent nation
At large
To hang its head
In utter shame.
